When is the best time for outdoor family photos?

Golden hour — the hour after sunrise or before sunset — gives the softest, warmest light. On the Gulf Coast, sunset sessions are especially popular for beach portraits. We’ll recommend the best window for your date and location.

What should we wear?

Solid colors work best — we suggest a pastel palette of light blues, tans, whites, soft pinks, and yellows. Avoid patterns, stripes, prints, logos, and bright, bold colors, and coordinate with your group rather than perfectly matching. We send a full preparation guide once you book.

How many people can join the session?

Bring the whole family — our sessions aren’t priced by headcount. For very large groups, tell us your numbers and we’ll plan the session so everyone is covered.

How soon will we get our photos?

We’ll confirm the current turnaround time when you book — it depends on the season and the editing queue. Need a few favorites sooner for a card or gift? Let us know and we’ll prioritize a sneak peek.
