A young family of four visiting from Michigan enjoyed a warm Gulf Coast evening at South Lido Beach in Sarasota. With two energetic boys, ages 2 and 4, this sunset session was all about capturing real interaction — running along the shoreline, chasing waves, and playing in the sand — rather than perfectly posed images.
A playful session with young kids
Photographing toddlers on the beach is never about standing still — it’s about movement and letting kids be themselves. Jeremy worked with the boys’ natural curiosity, guiding the parents into positions that let moments unfold organically. The result was a gallery full of genuine smiles, candid laughter, and real family connection.
Challenging light, professional results
The evening brought clear skies and a bright, direct sunset — beautiful to experience but tricky to photograph. Jeremy used angles, backlighting, and timing to soften the light, and as the sun dropped toward the horizon it transitioned into a warmer, more flattering glow that lifted every frame.
